According to the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS), participation in high school sports declined for the first time in 30 years in 2018-19. While there are a number of factors that have led to this decline, the DistrictWON platform will assist high schools, parents, and students with funding sources to help minimize the financial burden of participation.
In one of their initial programs, DistrictWON® has created a “Safe Decisions Week®” event within school districts across America. The program is available for Farmers Insurance agents to participate and provide ample awareness and education of distracted driving issues to the schools, highlighted by a ‘color-out’ event at the school.
DistrictWON® has established immediate credibility on a national basis by becoming official partners with both the NIAAA (National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association) and the NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations). “The team at DistrictWON has a great background in working with schools, which will be beneficial in this new partnership,” said Dr. Karissa Niehoff, NFHS executive director. “DistrictWON will be able to help schools within communities across the country, and we look forward to working with them to achieve these goals through this partnership.”

The DistrictWON leadership team has pioneered the integration of brands into the high school market. The team includes CEO, Peter Fitzpatrick and Senior VP, Regan Fitzpatrick, previous founders of HTM. In addition, Randy Domain, former VP of Sales with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Browns, has joined the team as VP of Partnerships. Danny Chalhoub will serve as Director of School Partnerships, a similar role he held with HTM for many years. The advisory team includes the founder of activation agency Cenergy, and former EVP of the Los Angeles Kings, John Cimperman.
